CUEA Building Reps Can Answer Your Questions
     Each school in CUSD has a CUEA Building Representative who is trained to help you with issues related to the CUEA/CUSD contract, as well as other professional concerns.
     Building Reps from each of the 53 schools in CUSD gather together monthly at CUEA Rep Council meetings. At that time they hear about news regarding the District, negotiations, and they discuss issues of common interest at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Your Building Rep serves as a liaison between you and CUEA leadership.
     Building Reps are an invaluable resource to teachers new to the District. Your friendly Building Rep can:


  • answer your questions about the contract;
  • tell you who can help you with school problems;
  • advise you how to resolve a school problem;
  • go with you to talk to your principal.
