Teachers Links to Learning -Assistance League of Capistrano Valley Links to learning is a program designed to provide support for CVUSD Middle School enrichment programs. Classroom teachers, school counselors, and media specialists are encouraged to apply for grants from $50 to $500 per application. You may request funds for student enrichment such as equipment, field trips, or classroom aids not funded, but approved, by the School District. Total grants per year can total up to $10,000 or more. Applications are available in your school's office. A copy of the application on file in the District personnel office and also by email from CUEA. Deadline for applications is usually around September 14th of each year and awarded on October 1. If you have any questions, please contact your school liason, or email CUEA for more information. AAUW Fellowship The Mission Viejo/Saddleback Valley Branch of the American Association of University Women has made the Eleanor Roosevelt Teachers Fellowship its Educational Foundation focus. They are committed to raising funds and providing fellowships for California teachers, as well as enrichment opportunities for girls in math, science, and technology. - Professional development -An innovative curriculum project designed to encourage girls' interests and achievements in math, science, and/or technology. - Fellows also receive an expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. to attend a five-day summer Teacher Institute. This intensive series of workshops and discussions helps educators create classrooms where all students are encouraged to succeed. or write; AAUW Educational Foundation, Applications must be postmarked by January 10, of the current year and are for the fellowship year July 1, through August 31. The National Foundation for the Improvement of Education (NFIE) and The Jordan Brand (Michael Jordan) will be awarding grants of $2,500
for outstanding teaching and student learning in public secondary
schools that serve economically disadvantaged students.
